The average person has five social media accounts and spends around 1 hour and 40 minutes browsing these networks every day. This accounts for almost 30% of the total time spent on the internet, with nearly 80% of social media time now spent on mobile devices.

Social media time spent and growth is rapidly increasing each year. In order to see how much the average person will ultimately spend on social media, MediaKix calculated the time spent across today’s most popular social media platforms and projected this figure across an entire lifetime.
