CAROL is an integrated smart platform offering the first comprehensive after-sale package (car insurance, service, maintenance) to UK motorists. Striving to become the Amazon.com of the automotive sector, CAROL is the online platform for all car related needs.

WHAT WE HAVE DONE

  • CAROL launched on February 2019 its first ever crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube. Having built a prototype and having partnered with market-leading partners, the company decided to fundraise to launch nationwide and reshape the £32bn after -sales industry. Their raising £400k in exchange for equity in the business.
  • Social Media Strategy – We provided Social Media strategy and clear KPIs.
  • Social Media Management – We managed weekly posts and campaigns focusing on different goals each month. We were responsible for managing CAROL’s Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram.
  • We followed a strategy divided into two phases: pre-campaign and ongoing campaign.

  • Email marketing – We were responsible of setting up, running and monitor the email campaigns. These campaigns were created to keep the investors / subscribers updated with the progress of funding and launch.
  • The pre-campaign included a survey that ran and was live nearly two months. The goal of this survey was to provide useful insights and details regarding the customers/users habits, helped also to grow the client’s mailing list, getting more email registrations.
  • Crowd funding campaigns to help client attract investors – Client created a 400k crowdfunding project and asked us to promote.

THE RESULTS

  • The men’s perfume industry is extremely competitive. So, to establish a brand that starts from ground zero and transform it into a brand that holds today an outstanding number of dedicated followers and fans, is surely a great accomplishment.
  • A great example of how to succeed on organic social. Apart from the fact that Facebook and Instagram achieved huge growth compared to the beginning of the collaboration, there has been a considerable spike in the engagement rates as well.
