Job description:

  • Design & Branding: Maintain and develop visually appealing and engaging designs for webshops, social media, and promotional materials.
  • Marketing: Oversee digital campaigns, create email templates, and drive engagement through eye-catching content.
  • Collaborative Briefing Sessions: Engage in morning meetings with the marketing and content teams to discuss ongoing projects, understand client requirements, and brainstorm creative concepts.
  • Design Development: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to create and refine designs for various digital platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and online advertisements. Ensure all visuals are on-brand and meet project specifications.
  • Client Feedback Integration: Present design drafts to clients and internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback to achieve the desired outcome. Maintain open communication channels to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Asset Management: Organise and maintain a library of design assets, ensuring easy access and consistency across all projects. Update templates and design systems as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Review final designs for errors or inconsistencies before publication. Ensure all graphics are optimized for various devices and platforms, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in graphic design and digital marketing. Apply this knowledge to keep our offerings fresh and innovative.

Person Specification:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in IT or Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years in graphic design.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with web design principles.
  • Creative Problem: Solving: Ability to conceptualise and execute innovative design solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to design, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all deliverables.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to adjust to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
